NUMP (D)

Brute and catchy riffs, harmonic parts and melodious, powerful vocals – these are the main ingredients Nump produce their music with. Since every band member adds a different part to the overall impression, there’s no lack of influences. A mixture of classic rock bands such as Pink Floyd or Genesis, bands like Staind as well as Creed and progressive metal is the result.

 

 

 

 

NUMP has released two LP so far - "Sigh of relief" (2006) and "Reflections" (2009), and received very warm reception from the German music press for both albums.

Both band guitarist, Sebastian and Thorsten, are endorsing our company playing two customised Mayones guitars. Sebastian has been using his Regius for almost one year now (see his profile here: Sebastian - NUMP). His band mate, Thorsten, joined May-players family few weeks ago ordering our Setius GTM 7 model. "Well, after playing my GTM-7 for a month I can really say, this guitar is better than I expected. A perfect finish with a genuine mahogany body with flamed maple top provides resonance and the ebony fingerboard feels fabulous." - he claims and says with satisfaction: "Perfect shape and perfectly balanced! The thickness and radius of the five-piece bolt on mahogany maple neck is excellent and makes it easy to play solo stuff or to cord as well especially for “small" hands."

Thorsten' Setius was delivered with standard Mahogany body with Flamed Maple top, Mahogany/Maple neck with a plain Ebony fretboard and powered with two active EMG pickups: 81-7 and 707. This is what he has to say about the sound of his Mayo guitar: "The clean sound is heavenly warm and rich and when it played without distortion it really sings but with distortion it turns into a monster!! This baby got the heaviest sound I’ve ever heard with amazing overtones. The active EMG´s gives you tons of gain and punch without mud to handle massive metal tones and low-down tunings. It just sounds bad ;-). Bad in a good way! No hum at all and very good for live gigs and studio recording."
